# Update automation

After clicking on **Save changes** in the automation you are updating, the system will ask you to decide on Version history and Managing existing flows.

**Version history:** you can save the changes in the existing automation flow or create another version of this automation. If you decide to create another version of the automation you will get two versions: an original and a new one.&#x20;
