Automation Scenarios

PushPushGo Lite allows you to:

a) tag your subscribers and collect additional information about their activities:

  • visited categories

  • date of the last visit

  • cart values

  • the number of products in the cart

  • clicks on action buttons like ADD TO CART, BUY NOW, PAY

b) send personalized automation campaigns to a specific subscriber, as soon as they meets certain conditions, like visiting page X, abandoning a basket, or if a specified time has passed since the last visit, etc.

You can configure the scenarios for automated campaigns in the AUTOMATION module.

Selectors that automatically allow subscribers to be tagged (e.g. after visited categories) or enable the collection of additional information about the subscriber (like the value of a cart, the number of products in the cart, etc.) will be set in the SELECTORS module.

Depending on the subscription plan you choose, there are different scenarios you can use no matter what industry you operate.

You can edit the name, renewal time, time unit, and notification content in each of them.

The automation campaign creator is very similar to the mass campaign creator.

Update subscriber's values

This is a scenario that updates data about your subscribers, such as time of last visit. The data is used in other scenarios. Ideally, this scenario should always remain enabled.

Welcome message

This scenario allows you to automatically send a notification right after the user signs up for notifications. In the content you can e.g. thank the user for subscribing to the notifications and enrich it with a discount code.

When you click on the edit scenario button, the scenario path will open.

Click the bell icon on the scenario tree to edit the default notification. Don't forget to save the changes!

Next, turn on the scenario on the left and click on the Save button in the upper right corner.

14 days absence

Long time no see - If a subscriber hasn't visited your website for some time (e.g. 14 days), he/she will automatically receive a web push notification directing him/her to e.g.: a promotion subpage. Thanks to this you will increase the return rate.

Your scenario can apply to any number of days you choose. All you need to do is set the recurrence time to your chosen X+1 days, and the delay (the watch icon on the scenario tree) by X days.

Don't forget to adjust the number of days in the scenario condition as well:

Note that you can add further conditions, determinig whether a subscriber falls into the scenario and receives a notification.

Complete and save the campaign content.

You have to see it

You have to see it - every subscriber will receive a web push notification as soon as they enter the page (trigger: session start) with an invitation to explore some specific product, category or article.

The default condition for this scenario is that there is no "push" parameter in the referer URL, which means that people who were redirected to the page just from our notification will not fall into the scenario.

To enable this scenario, complete the campaign content, save the changes, click the button on the left and save again via the button in the upper right corner.

Tag - last visit

Last visit is a tagging scenario that assigns tags to subscribers based on the date of their last visit to the website. You can use the assigned tags during campaign targeting.

There are 3 versions of this scenario in the Premium plan, tagging users who:

  • have visited the site in the last 7 days,

  • have not visited the site for more than a week, but have been on the site in the last 8-30 days,

  • have not visited the site for more than 30 days.

If you enable any version of this scenario, you can use the assigned tags in other automation scenarios and targeted campaigns. You can read about how to do this in the TARGETING section.

NOTE - For the Tag: Last visit scenarios to work correctly, the Update subscriber's values scenario must be enabled!

Abandoned Cart

Abandoned Cart - subscribers have abandoned their cart, i.e. added a product to the cart but did not complete the order (were not redirected to the Success Page). After a certain amount of time, they will receive a web push notification directing them to their cart and encouraging them to complete their order.

You can adjust the renewal time and delay to your preference. A lot depends on how long your online store keeps the products added to the cart. If the delay is longer than thant period, the notification will redirect user to an empty cart.

You should also adjust the selector containing the number of products in the cart for this scenario. Remember that in order for the scenario to work properly, you need to configure the selector before enabling it (you can find the template in the "Selectors" tab). See the Creating selector on the number of products in the cart section for further instructions.

If you want to exclude people who finalized their purchase from this scenario, complete the condition with the address of a subpage so-called "thank you page" that appears after the order is placed.

Finally, complete the campaign content, save the changes, enable the scenario, and save.
